Overview
Incoloy 825 differs from Inconel 625 with its higher iron content and strategic copper addition (1.5-3%), providing outstanding resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. This makes it the material of choice for chemical processing plants handling mixed acids, pickling operations, and pollution control scrubbers. Excellent chloride SCC resistance.
